On April 14-15, 2017 the second International Cycling Congress will take place in Moscow. The main goal of the Congress is to create a communication platform for all parties interested in promoting bicycle as a transportation mode and creating comfortable and safe environment for urban cycling as well as developing tools for cooperation between government, business and public enterprises.

The first Moscow International Cycling Congress took place on April 21-23, 2016.
It brought together more than 300 participants from 37 Russian cities and 15 countries of the world. Some of them share their emotions about the congress in this video.

April 14th and 15th are the main days of the International Cycling Congress. A few additional events will take place on April 13th and 16th. The detailed program.
Friday,
April 14
The Day 1 program will be focused on global trends in transport and urban mobility, reduction of the number of victims in the road accidents and the Vision Zero program, the economic aspects of the bicycle cultural and opportunities for business in contributing to this process. The first day will also be a platform for several round tables where experts will discuss the amendments to the traffic code, cycling routes to connect Moscow and the Moscow region and other topics.
Saturday,
April 15
The Day 2 of the main program will cover such topics as the present and future of the city bicycle-sharing systems, biсycle tourism as a tool for regional development, environment and development of bicycle culture in winter cities. This day the participants can also learn about successful cases of bicycle activism both in Russia and in various cities around the world.

April 16
